AIM Active Harmonic Filters:

• The AIM filter also provides ‘electronic power factor correction’ via reactive power compensation - typically 37kVAr @ 415V, 100A AIM. This improves the system power factor without the negative effects of capacitors.
• Power Factor correction & harmonic mitigation available simultaneously with no reduction in performance.
• AIM is current limited and will function without damage regardless of the magnitude of the harmonic current demanded by the load.
• AIM significantly reduces the 'line notching' caused by thyristor switching and other load generated transients.
